The F-Livadi Villa is located at Kalo Livadi beach, in Mykonos island. The settlement is an ode to outdoor living and offers unobstructed view to the beach. It consists of two different levels: two white volumes at the upper level and a stone wall volume at the lower level with extending outdoor shaded or open-air areas and two swimming pools.
The main access point from the parking area and the entrance to the two whitewashed volumes are both located on the upper level. The large, whitewashed volume that accommodates the main common areas – living room, dining area, kitchen and WC- is embraced by a large pergola. The interior living opens out on to the outdoor areas. The pergola by wood and reed, hosts a bar, an open kitchen, and a dining area right by the main swimming pool. The water element is dominating due to the waterfall and the water canals surrounding the outdoor dining area while creating a relaxing atmosphere for a perfect summer meal under the shade of an olive tree. An exterior stair path first leads to an open-air lounge area with a fireplace next to a pool and then to the outdoor area of the lower level.
The smaller white wall volume accommodates one luxury suite with a private bathroom as well as a staircase internally connecting the two levels.
The stone wall volume at the lower level accommodates four luxury suites with en suite bathrooms. Three of them opening to a private swimming pool with uninterrupted views of the sea, while the 4th enjoys a private jacuzzi.
The surfaces have large light-colored wooden window screens that allow admiring the view from the indoor areas. Off-white plaster, bleached oak surfaces and concrete in earthy tones, as well as the use of open materials such as lime-wash, stone and wood combined with minimalist aesthetics, unveil the island’s heritage through a modern approach.
